Dear Family and Friends,
This week was interesting. We had more meetings, but I contained my urge to set some Sister missionaries hair on fire, so all is well in the MIM. I forgot the report paper for our meeting with the Stake President and we had the grand opportunity to listen to an extra hour of talks as we drove all the back to our members' home to get and then return to the meeting. Good thing our meetings are so long, that we weren't even late for our portion to report.Sunday, September 21, 2014
In the MIM
In the MIM: August 18th, 2014
Our investigator who was preparing for baptism, Eduardo, wasn't able to come to church because his parents won't let him, so it should be fun meeting with them this week and convincing them that we aren't a cult. I'm starting to believe that my mission will just be teaching teenagers whose parents don't want them to join the church and single women who work unhealthy hours at hotels cleaning up puke from Kansas City Chiefs' football players.
One fantastic miracle from this week came yesterday at eight in the evening. After having zero success finding people to teach all week, we said a prayer that we would meet our goal and lone behold when we contacted our last house of the night we got a solid lesson and new people to teach. Faith precedes miracles.
Make it a great week! Mucho amor.
