Dear Family and Friends,
Nothing much to report on this week. Sorry that that might seem I bit boring, but the work has really slowed down here in Kansas City. Elder Grzan and I are trying to find investigators, but nothing is panning out. We did do exchanges and I got to go with Elder Santa Cruz and learn a ton of Spanish. And guess what? He's from Utah! Utah homies unite! None of those annoying California Elders who constantly whine about the weather and say how much they miss Cali.
Ka Baw Say, the main investigator in my Burmese family has asked us to call him Brother Say from now on because he felt left out of the "group" or church. This guy is faithful. He has such a powerful testimony of Jesus Christ and wants to join our church so badly that he comes to our ward for sacrament and then goes to his church an hour away for another couple hours. He can't leave his church right now because he translates all of the documents for the Koran community in the area and that's where they meet so we're working out the situation with our Bishop. You've got to work for the things you want, right?
I know that all I ever do is rant about Ivan, but yesterday he blessed the sacrament in church and this Thursday we have a temple trip planned so I am beyond excited! It's great to see success in missionary work and makes every missed appointment, every slammed door, and every day worth it.
Keep up the good work. Much amor.
